7th Annual Gala
to Support the NH Police Cadet Training Academy
The 7th Annual Gala to Support the NH Police Cadet Training Academy will be held on Friday, February 7th, 2020 at the Grappone Center of the Courtyard Marriott in Concord.
Just as we have in years past, attendees can look forward to a fun evening out, featuring a delicious buffet dinner and dancing. For the 7th year, music will be provided by Captain Tim Cohen of the Lebanon Police Department to keep everyone dancing long into the night. Throughout the night, you’ll have the opportunity to bid on a vast number of incredible raffle prizes and silent auction items which are donated by local individuals and businesses. The proceeds of which go toward the $60,000 or more it costs to run the Cadet Academy each year.
Chief (Ret) Steven Marshall of the Washington Police Department will be recognized for his many years of service and dedication to the Cadet Academy by being awarded the Richard Sexton Commander's Service Award. Chief Marshall served as a staff member starting in 1987 before eventually becoming the Academy Committee Chairman, and he has continued to be involved after retirement. He joins a very honored list of past awardees:
2014- Ofc. (Ret) Chuck Piotrowski
2015- Jane Dockham
2016- Chief (Ret) Steve Monier
2017- Chief (Ret) Vinnie Baiocchetti
2018- Sgt. (Ret) Linda Stevens
2019- Capt. David Holmstock
In addition, each year a former Cadet is invited to speak about their Cadet Academy experience and how it has impacted their career and life. This year we were most pleased to learn about our program from 2019 Leadership graduate Nathan Sartell from Brookline.
With us again, as she has been for every Gala, will be Jennifer Rabbitt Zalenski of JRZ Photography. Check out the photo gallery she created of this and past Galas!
